Babysitter’s Boot Camp

Babysitter’s Boot Camp is a comprehensive 8-hour,
skills-based class designed to train youth from 11-16 who wants to be a great
babysitter! Topics covered include: Business practices of babysitting,
decision-making, problem solving, disciplining and communication skills,
feeding, diapering and food preparation for infants and children. Also covered
in the course, safe play, preventing injuries and accidents, recognizing and
responding to breathing and cardiac emergencies, choking procedure, rescue
breathing, and CPR. At the end of class, students will receive an American Red
Cross child/Infant CPR certification and a card for Babysitter’s Training. Bring paper, pencil and sack lunch.
